Welcome to the Europlasma Donation Center Vienna 21! In Floridsdorf you will find a state-of-the-art plasma center and a place that our donors affectionately call a "feel-good institute".
Experience the very special, pleasant atmosphere on site. Our caring team awaits you with a smile and provides you with free mineral water and hot drinks during your visit. You will go home with the good feeling that your plasma donation has enabled sick people to receive vital medication.
We recommend that you make an appointment to avoid waiting times and to plan your visit optimally.
Important information for your visit:
- Making an appointment: Donation appointments are allocated every half hour (starting at 8:30 am or 1:30 pm).
- Registration: Please register at the reception desk at least 10 minutes before your appointment.
- Last possible donation date: Please note that acceptance takes place no later than 45 minutes before the end of opening hours.
The last appointments are:
- Mon, Tue, Fri: 5:30 p.m.
- Thurs.: 18:00
- Sat: 12:00 noon

What happens during the donation?
Before or during each donation, your blood pressure and pulse are checked, a health questionnaire is completed, your haemoglobin level is measured and your infection parameters and haematocrit are checked. You then take a seat on one of our comfortable donation beds and your arm is punctured. The plasma is mechanically separated from the remaining blood components, only the plasma is kept, the rest of the blood is returned to your body. The donation takes about 30-45 minutes.
